Frequently Asked Questions
The app uses a smart little algorithm that tries to find restaurants that are almost equally distant from everyone in your group (works for 2 to 6 people right now). It figures out a “sweet spot” — and shows you 15 solid restaurant options around that area. So no one ends up traveling way more than the others, and no more ‘where do we meet?’ debates!
I actually intentionally left out the cuisine filter 😅. The whole idea behind the app is to help your group find a good place quickly without overthinking it. When you start adding filters like “only Korean” or “only Italian,” you might end up with places that are slightly off from the ideal sweet spot — just because of how those restaurants are distributed.
But if you really wanna look for a specific cuisine, there’s a separate section where you can search for literally anything — Chinese, Korean, cafes, whatever, in any region that you like, by just dragging the map to that specific location. The only catch is that it won’t show time and distance from each person like the main view does. It’s more for when you have a craving and don’t mind traveling a little extra 😄.
Absolutely! In the separate search section (yep, the one mentioned earlier), you can look up literally anything — from hotels, malls, and clothing stores to any cuisine you’re craving, like Japanese, Thai, or even dessert spots. Just drag the map to any location you want and search freely. It’s super flexible — perfect for when you're exploring or have something specific in mind.
No, it doesn't require location permission!
